REPORTS TO: President and CEO
SUPERVISES: All clinical, on-site and mobile health operations personnel; LCDA health personnel: health program coordinators, supervisors and subcontractors.
ROLE OVERVIEW: The supervisor’s primary role is to achieve the LCDA goals and objectives through the development of new partnerships between, physicians, national, state and local health organizations to provide access to health services to the Hispanic community in the state of Oklahoma.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in public health, nursing or related area
PREREQUISITE EXPERIENCE:
· Management experience in an allied health field;
· Two years of health care, clinical, management, and or operations.
PREREQUISITE SKILLS: Candidates for this position will have:
· Ability to demonstrate, and provide examples of continuous personal development and
improvement in each of the essential functions listed below;
· Familiarity with basic budgeting principles, as well as budget preparation and analysis
experience;
· Basic grant writing skills
· Knowledge of basic human resource functions;
· A customer focused attitude;
· Problem solving skills, strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage
multiple tasks/projects.
SPECIAL POPULATIONS: Requires the incorporation of a basic understanding of the behaviors and needs, of the Hispanic community and high level of cultural competency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following functions describe the essential duties of this role.

1. Understand the health needs of Latino consumers and design and implement
programs to respond to the needs.
2. Responsible for the overall supervision of the health programs, education, outreach,
testing, referral and screening and insures fulfillment of program objectives.
3. Participates in multi disciplinary management team meetings.
4. Participates in network meetings related to the LCDA health programs
5. Prepares grant applications for related programs.
6. Prepares quarterly administrative reports to the organizations that provide funds for
the programs and the LCDA president and CEO.
7. Facilitate trusting relationships and partnerships with physicians, patients and co-
workers and the Hispanic community.
8. Promote an environment that facilitates innovation, creative solutions, and
empowerment.
9. Demonstrate competency in leadership skills, work and service.
10. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies
and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing; hiring; and training employees; planning assigning; and directing work; appraising performance; rewording and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
