REPORTS TO: President and CEO

 

SUPERVISES: All clinical, on-site and mobile health operations personnel; LCDA health personnel: health program coordinators, supervisors and subcontractors.

 

ROLE OVERVIEW: The supervisor’s primary role is to achieve the LCDA goals and objectives through the development of new partnerships between, physicians, national, state and local health organizations to provide access to health services to the Hispanic community in the state of Oklahoma.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in public health, nursing or related area

 

PREREQUISITE EXPERIENCE:

· Management experience in an allied health field;

· Two years of health care, clinical, management, and or operations.

 

PREREQUISITE SKILLS: Candidates for this position will have:

· Ability to demonstrate, and provide examples of continuous personal development and

  improvement in each of the essential functions listed below;

· Familiarity with basic budgeting principles, as well as budget preparation and analysis

  experience;

· Basic grant writing skills

· Knowledge of basic human resource functions;

· A customer focused attitude;

· Problem solving skills, strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage

   multiple tasks/projects.

6.      Prepares quarterly administrative reports to the organizations that provide funds for

         the programs and the LCDA president and CEO.

         workers and the Hispanic community.

         empowerment.

10.    Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies

and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing; hiring; and training employees; planning assigning; and directing work; appraising performance; rewording and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Functions: Under the supervision of the Director of programs the Child Trauma Therapist is responsible for providing individual therapy, group therapy, family intervention, and crisis intervention. Specific Duties: 1. Conduct intake/ assessment with child and parent referred to the program. 2. Provides Individual therapy to children referred to the program (ages 4-10) utilizing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. 3. Conducts children’s therapeutic groups for children who been exposed to domestic violence utilizing semi-structured curricula meshed with psycho-educational activities carried out in niños en acción. Documentation up-to-date including progress notes, assessments and case notes. 4. Performs other duties assigned by supervisor. Minimum requirements for this position include: 1. Master’s degree in behavioral science or related area. 2. Experience working with child trauma related issues 3. Clinical Experience working with mental health issues and documentation helpful 4.
